Buenos Aires, November 17 (NA) – A 42-year-old man was arrested after spitting and making anti-Semitic remarks at the entrance to the 'Dr. Max Nordau' synagogue, located in the Villa Crespo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The synagogue belongs to the 'Dorja Jadash' Jewish community. Official sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the individual desecrated religious symbols and called the security guard a 'murderer' and 'genocidal,' reproaching him: 'How can you protect this temple?'. In this context, officers from the City Police communicated with the Unit for Flagrant Crimes of the Public Prosecutor's Office, which ordered his arrest and summoned him for an arraignment hearing to take place this Monday. The Justice system has initiated an investigation into the events at the temple on Murillo 661 due to the accused's violation of anti-discrimination laws.
